Snowy Mountains Neighbourhood Centre (SMNC) aims to provide a safe and accessible community facility that promotes the principles of respect, collaboration, social justice and participation, support and accountability. Adaptable to and guided by community needs, we host community groups, outreach organisations, government services and house an outreach library service. We provide public access to training and educational opportunities, technology, office and life admin services. The SMNC also acts as a soft entry point to those seeking crisis support, public welfare and social well-being. We are a multi-tasking service but the SMNC's key role is to create positive futures, promote inclusivity and contribute towards a cohesive society through engagement and participation.
