ANZGITA - Australian and New Zealand Gastroenterology International Training Association
ANZGITA provides in-country gastroenterology (GE) training programs for doctors and nurses in developing AsiaPacific countries where the need for GE services is sizable and growing. Starting in Fiji sixteen years ago, we currently provide training in five countries. Over 100 doctors and nurses from Australia and New Zealand have given their time pro bono as trainers. In addition we have a small team of non-medical volunteers who provide fund raising, administrative and other support.
