To promote and foster the game of lawn bowls for lawn bowlers including people with disabilities, Peel also caters for the Blind and Disabled. A group of 20 disabled bowlers come along every Tuesday for half a day and have a wonderful time. Volunteers from the Peel Bowling Club help set up equipment and aids for these players. Even if you are not a bowler, volunteers are always needed to help out with the disabled and blind bowlers.
