We are seeking a friendly and outgoing volunteer to assist and bring joy to seniors with dementia in our Social Activity Centre. On Tuesdays from 8.30am – 3.30pm you will join our staff to help with activities, such as morning tea, games, quizzes, crafts, and low impact exercises like tai chi.

Advocare volunteers assist in providing the Advocare Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) to older people living in Residential Aged Care facilities or receiving a Home Care Package. Volunteers engage in one-on-one visits to people who are socially isolated or experiencing loneliness and whose quality of life would be improved by positive engagement and companionship.
