Our volunteers support clients with a life-limiting illness in their homes. Volunteers may offer companionship and practical support. They can provide social support to those living on their own; respite to a client’s carer (i.e. a couple of hours break to a carer each week); or help with shopping. Volunteers must be over 18 years old, able to work on their own in the community but are part of a larger team of dedicated volunteers and staff. Training is provided.

Learning Clubs provide a safe and supportive out-of-school learning environment where primary or secondary students can participate in activities that develop their academic and social skills. Types of clubs include homework, literacy, numeracy or multi-focus. Generally, we are seeking a volunteer commitment of 2 hours (once per week) Clubs typically run just after school finishes.
