This position is perfect for volunteers that enjoy reading. We care for children and their environment, which is shown by our literacy programs and fund raising activities. Supporters can choose their hours and projects.
As an Advocare Aged Care Volunteer Visitor we are asking you to devote one hour per week (minimum) to supporting an older person in your community through friendship and companionship. By helping reduce social isolation for an older person, you will be making a difference to their wellbeing. This Role is Monday- Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Home Tutors tutor adult migrants in students' houses 1-1 for 1 hour a week. Tutors help migrants to improve their English skills (mainly vocabulary and conversation). They are provided with books and learning materials, training and ongoing support.
