We are looking for a retired hairdresser to work between 08.45am to 11.45am one morning a week, of volunteers choice, .

Duties include:

• hair sets and perms
• trims and cuts
• no waxing or bleaching

Volunteers are required to:

• have had a current flu vaccination
• proof of police check for working with vulnerable people

Our volunteers will be required to have patience, work unsupervised after appropriate training is provided, and the ability to follow all policies and procedures.

The government has recently changed vaccine requirements for aged care volunteers and workers. Volunteers must have at least one COVID 19 vaccination shot by 17th September. Additionally, they have strongly recommended disability support workers/volunteers get their COVID shots, and will consider making it mandatory by October 31st.
