The Canberra and Region Visitors Centre

Our volunteers are a vital part of our service delivery at the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre (CRVC) and have an important role in welcoming and assisting visitors to Canberra. They provide visitors with up to date information about what’s on, where to eat and so much more. We are looking for people of all ages with good computer and people skills to help visitors find more that what they came for.

Some of the responsibilities of our Visitor Service Volunteers include:

Assisting visitors to book tickets to attractions online. Answering questions via our website live chat. Providing information about accommodation and caravan/camping options. Helping with directions to local and regional areas, printing maps etc. Recommending places to eat and activities to do that match the visitors needs. Explaining our public transport system and parking arrangements.
