Angel-Paws Inc is a NFP Townsville based animal rescue who prioritise saving animals with limited options and give them a second chance at life.

We have a talented group of people behind the wings, teaching the animals in our care to be outstanding pets for new families. We help people by matching a great pet to them, making sure that it is a forever home that our furry kids go to. We work with veterinary clinics and foster carers who volunteer their time and effort to bring our animals to full health and well-being, before finding them a new home.

Angel-Paws Inc. is run by passionate volunteers who work tirelessly to help our four-legged friends find a well-deserved forever home.

Angel-Paws Inc. is a no kill rescue organisation. Every animal that comes in to our care stays with us until they find a forever home. As a foster carer with us, you will be part of the network that is dedicated to each animal that comes into our care. Your role is to love the animal, teach basic manners, bring to adoption days, veterinary appointments and any fundraising events. But your most important role is saving a life.

As a foster carer with us, you will be part of the network that is dedicated to each animal that comes into our care. Your role is to love the animal, teach basic manners, bring to adoption days, veterinary appointments and any fundraising events.

Our ideal volunteer is patient, kind, devoted and supports our goals of responsible pet ownership. Having some knowledge of animal behaviour is helpful to supporting the animal's training prospects.

Having transport access is preferred, but not required. Volunteers must live in the Townsville region in a home with secure fencing for dogs and a secure home for cats. If you rent, we will need to see written permission from your landlord to house animals at your residence.

Knowing you're saving a life and being part of their forever journey is a very rewarding and fulfilling experience. You, in turn, are rewarded with their love and gratitude being loved, possibly for the first time. Many foster carers keep in contact with adopted parents and are rewarded again and again watching their foster animal grow in a loving family home.
