YMCA WA is a Not for Profit organisation whose key focus are Health & Wellness, Early Education and Youth participation. Health & Wellness includes Sports and Recreation centres and Aquatics. Early Education includes Early Learning Centres, Out of School Hour care, In Home Child Care and Family Day Care. Youth Participation includes working with youth at risk offering counselling and engagement programs. The YMentoring program helps young people in the community to make positive life choices that help them to maximise their potential. Our Mentoring Program uses adult volunteers to support, guide and be a friend to a young person for a period of a least one year. By becoming part of the social network of adults and community members who care about young people, the mentor can help a young person develop and reach positive personal goals.
