Natural History Society of South Australia

Since 1960, the Natural History Society of South Australia has been promoting and lobbying for the protection of the native flora and fauna of South Australia. Our focus is on practical conservation and promoting the protection and preservation of our unique natural history by example. We manage and maintain the Moorunde Wildlife Reserve, the first established and currently largest sanctuary for Southern Hairy-nosed Wombats in the Murraylands of South Australia. Help us protect and preserve this unique Australian – and faunal emblem of South Australia!
