Children's Cancer Foundation

Logo for Children's Cancer Foundation

The Children’s Cancer Foundation was established in 1992 by parents of children with cancer. Their aim was to ensure their children, and those in the future, would have access to the world’s best possible care to save their lives. While our focus is largely research based, we believe that it is the little things – a child’s access to hospital based art and music therapy – that can significantly help a child on their cancer journey. A volunteer board of directors and a large team of dedicated volunteers help us maximise our fundraising income. Over the past 5 years our administrative overheads have averaged just 9%. We keep our overheads low through the generosity of many pro bono supporters - office space, IT, marketing, branding, design, print, legal, audit, event management and insurance. With the unwavering support of generous individuals and organisations, the Children’s Cancer Foundation continues to operate as a leader in the childhood cancer charity sector in Australia.
