Logo for Newtown Neighbourhood Centre

Newtown Neighbourhood Centre is an Incorporated Association providing community services in the inner west of Sydney. NNC supports people through community action and provision of services to address their needs focusing on the disadvantaged and vulnerable members in the community. We seek to create a more inclusive, resilient, vibrant and self- reliant community. The Centre is structured into four operational teams which provide a range of services. • The Boarding House Outreach Project provides support to residents of unlicensed boarding houses and those who are homeless in Sydney and the Inner West. • The Community Linking Project promotes social inclusion and community involvement by providing community linkages, social support and assistance to residents of Licensed Residential Centres. • The Programs Team run the Front Counter Information and Referral Service, Community Activities, Multicultural Neighbour Aid, the Shopping Service and the Good Neighbour Program where volunteers make regular home visits to isolated older people or those living with a disability. • The Administration Team supports the operation of these three service delivery programs. A just community that includes and acts.
