RDA NT Vision Statement: To break down barriers so people can move towards personal achievement through Equestrian Activities RDA NT Mission Statement: RDA NT is a not for profit community organisation which provides people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in therapeutic, sporting and recreational equestrian activities, allowing them to improve their quality of life, attain personal goals and develop life skills. RDA NT is dedicated to providing the opportunity for people with disabilities and volunteers in the Northern Territory to participate in equestrian activities. We aim to achieve this through the provision of sporting, recreational, therapeutic and training programs operated by trained and caring people who are committed to our aims now and in the future. - Two centres operate currently within NT and are affiliated with RDANT and RDAA. - Has 194 members across the state. - Plans to develop more centres in the future (Katherine). - Fosters, promotes and supports the integration of people with disabilities into community activities. - Liaises with other service providers for people with disabilities. - Provides an advocacy/advisory service to the community RDA NT is a member of RDA Australia.
