1989-1992: Group of 5 local residents formed an unincorporated group to tackle local problems, originally including speeding, traffic management, anti-social behaviour, alcohol and drug awareness, and community development activities. It was incorporated in 1993 known as Silver Bridle Action Group Inc. In 2013, it entered a 15-year facilities management agreement with GCCC until 2027 to run Lynne Richardson Community Centre in Molendinar. Since then it has run several programmes, including Community Foodbank, After School Care, Senior Broadband, Social Chess, and community development activities.
