We are the fastest growing AFL Club in the Townsville Northern Beaches. The northern Beaches SUNS are also the youngest club in the competition, formed when the Northern Beaches Barras (junior club) merged with the Townsville City Lions ((senior club) in 2016. We have all age groups ranging from Auskick to Senior Men's, Women's and Youth Girls teams. In total we have ten teams which take the field each week. The Northern Beaches SUS is situated in the fastest growing area of Townsville, with a demographic of young families. The club is ideally situated in the middle of Burdell, giving the young families of the area a great venue for family-based sports and activities.
