(30272565845) has been registered as a charity with the ACNC You can read about our organization in our new revamped website:- https://www.nestcommunity.org.au/ Our volunteers are all women, and we welcome women to volunteer in all parts of our beautiful organization. ur Haberdashery Shop is central to our work, we ask all volunteers to spend a few days working in the haberdashery, no matter what volunteer role they decide to do. Our craft workshops and social groups cater for a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities and give people the opportunity to meet together, share knowledge and learn a new skill, and generate revenue so that the wider community can be supported. Sustainability is at the heart of The Nest Community and we encourage the use of recycled and up-cycled materials. The Nest Haberdashery; our social enterprise, is a treasure trove of donated, pre-loved and vintage supplies that not only resources our workshops, but also supports many other charitable organisations throughout Brisbane.
