The Share Shop has been established to: • Reduce the number of consumer goods purchased independently and used infrequently, reducing waste associated with newly acquired goods. • Provide access to things for those who might not otherwise have the resources be able to obtain such things. • Build community by promoting sharing, learning, making and doing. • Promote low impact, connected living. We achieve this by: • Running a library of things for sharing among members, therefore, providing access to goods that are used infrequently when purchased by individuals. • Encouraging community members to engage in a low impact society and working with other community based social enterprises to promote low impact living.
