Sydney City Farm is an urban agriculture project nurtured by the City of Sydney in Sydney Park at St Peters. It's a place to learn about urban agriculture and sustainable food production. The farm’s community hub and cropping area is used to grow fresh seasonal produce using organic production techniques with assistance from volunteers. Food harvested from the farm is currently donated to local charities. The farm also has agroforestry, floriculture and agriculture crop demonstration displays. We also offer small group horticulture and food production workshops, hands-on sessions, and sustainability talks; and connect the city with the country via community participation, collaboration and events. Volunteers are provided with an opportunity to do interesting and rewarding work at Sydney City Farm through learning new skills, and interacting with others who share similar interests.
