We are a not for profit children’s charity and we have been providing school holiday camps for children from across Victoria and southern NSW for more than 70 years. The Camp is located on the cliffs overlooking Port Phillip Bay in Portsea on the Mornington Peninsula. We welcome all kids but we particularly encourage rurally isolated and disadvantaged kids to attend our school holiday camps. A team of more than 40 volunteers support our Camp Staff at each of our school holiday camps. Room Leaders keep the kids happy, safe, healthy and engaged . Recreation Leaders run our huge range of activities. This includes swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, cycling, bush walking, art and drama. Some of these roles require specialist qualifications like Bronze Medallion, Pool Lifeguard or Surf Rescue. All volunteers need a current Working With Children Check or equivalent. Medically qualified volunteers run our medical centre and ensure the kid's medical needs are properly managed.
