Civic Assist (previously METRO Care Toowoomba) established in 2012 is a not-for-profit charitable organisation that works collaboratively with the local community to develop unique, targeted and innovative programs and initiatives that complement existing services and support for people of all ages and from all walks of life. CA currently runs a Youth Street Outreach program, an After-hours Assertive Outreach & Rest & Recovery services on weekends, a Support Centre for emergency relief and low cost clothing and household goods, Fresh Cuts (free hair cuts) and the Winter Warmth Appeal.
