Established in 1939, Gowrie Victoria (GV) provides early childhood education and care (ECEC) to children aged 0 – 5, and training for early learning staff. We are a not-for-profit social enterprise and reinvest our surplus to contribute to furthering our purpose, which is: For those who teach and care for children, Gowrie Victoria champions good early childhood education and care. Because when children learn, we all grow We are well-respected within the ECEC sector and enjoy good working relations with government and peak bodies. GV currently manages six early childhood services across Melbourne with services at Carlton North, Carlton, Broadmeadows, Yarraville and two services in Docklands. We also provide adult education and training through our RTO, and specialist training and consultancy to the ECEC sector. We currently employ approximately 340 staff across the organisation.
