Friends of South Surrey Park is a group of volunteers who plant, weed, mulch and collect litter along Back Creek between Riversdale and Union Roads. We meet weekly on Tuesdays from 10am to 12 noon and the last Sunday of the month. FSSP work in conjunction with Melbourne Water and Boroondara Council. The group has been in existence for 25 years and each year plant approx 6000 seedlings though more time is spent weeding.
