The Bimblebox Alliance

The Bimblebox Nature Refuge is an 8,000 hectare property in the Desert Uplands Bioregion of Central West Queensland, in the south Galilee Basin. We work to maintain the property’s conservation values, year in and year out through summer heat, drought, extreme fire risk, flooding rains, isolation… etc! For more information about the refuge, its ecology, its wildlife and its history, google 'bimblebox nature refuge'. We are urgently calling for volunteer weeders to promote native species regeneration, for a full 2 week stint (more if you wish) starting anytime. Return ticket by train or bus to Alpha, food and accommodation are provided. Patience and an eye for detail preferred.
