Guthrie House

Guthrie House Co-operative Incorporated is a not-for-profit residential transitional service for women, located in Enmore in Sydney’s Inner West. Guthrie House provides a unique service which supports women with a current involvement in the criminal justice system in their transition back into the community. The women who come to Guthrie House may include women on release from a correctional centre on a community-based sentence such as a parole order, probation order, drug court order or intensive correction order. Many of the women also have complex health needs and a history of alcohol and/or drug abuse. Guthrie House provides provide programs and transitional support for up to 10 women and a time, including pregnant women and infants. Guthrie House is funded by Corrective Services NSW, NSW Health, Family and Community Services (FaCS) and the Department of Health.
