Safe Pets Safe Families is a charity organisation that seeks to help people and their pets that are facing crisis situations such as domestic violence and homelessness. The organisation is currently based in Adelaide, South Australia and you may have seen Safe Pets Safe Families recently featured on "I'm a Celebrity" as Yvie's chosen charity. Safe Pets Safe Families believe in keeping people and pets together through times of crisis. We reduce the amount of animals needing to be surrendered, reduce the number of healthy animals being euthanized and preserve and promote that special bond between human and animal. The key objective of Safe Pets Safe Families among many others is to provide an animal fostering service to people in crisis so they feel more confident to leave a dangerous situation knowing they do not have to leave their animals behind, preventing them from being abandoned or surrendered to the already flooded shelter system that sees many animals being un-necessarily euthanised.
