Cityhope Care is the not-for-profit charity arm of Cityhope Church, founded by Director and Senior Pastor Mark Edwards in 2007. The broader vision for Cityhope Care is to outreach to vulnerable individuals in the community experiencing or at risk of harm, abuse, poverty, or neglect. Vision - Restoring Hope with Strong Foundations Mission - Responding to the risks of harm associated with social marginalisation and neglect within our community. Engaging our broader community to lean in with their kind generosity and collaborative action, to walk alongside individuals in a time of need. Encouraging outreach with a kind word and hand up, collaboratively building the wellness of our whole community through action, connection and respect. Our Programs Cityhope Care provides free practical resources to our frontline responders, helping individuals in immediate need of crisis support. They are offered throughout the year. Cityhope Care works in collaboration with our frontline agencies who assess the immediate need for support and distribute our resources to ensure they go where they are most needed. Including but not limited to individuals impacted by: · Poverty or at risk of harm/abuse/neglect/homelessness /social marginalisation · Domestic and family violence, vulnerable youth, and children · Immediate or unexpected crisis i.e., health, loss of income source, accommodation etc · Natural disasters such as COVID19, storm damage, bushfire, drought, flood Our 2 Key Initiatives and what they offer: 1.
