Water Stewardship Australia trading as Water Stewardship Asia Pacific (WSAP) is the not-for-profit, member based entity that promotes and supports stakeholders to implement Water Stewardship, through the International Water Stewardship Standard, for sustainable water use in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. We define water stewardship as "the use of water that is socially equitable, environmentally sustainable and economically beneficial, achieved through a stakeholder-inclusive process that involves site and catchment-based actions". Through Water Stewardship we enable stakeholder engagement from across the spectrum of industry, government, environmental and social interests to address shared water challenges.
