WAAC (formerly the WA AIDS Council) has a range of services which support people living with HIV, as well as programs which aim to reduce the risk of transmission of HIV, STIs and other blood borne viruses through education and health promotion to various target groups and the wider community. Volunteer intakes are conducted 3 times a year (Feb/March, May/June and Aug/Sept) and include a 90 minute volunteer information session, followed by an interview and volunteer induction training. Further training may be required for specific roles.
