Community Transport volunteers provide a vital service to the WA community. You would provide transport and companionship to people who otherwise would be unable to attend medical appointments. Loneliness can have far reaching effects on our aging population and knowing someone who cares will visit regularly can have a positive impact on the wellbeing. Volunteers are matched with clients to visit for 2 hours per week supporting them to make connections in their local community or provide companionship.

Volunteers assist in the Vinnies Shops to provide affordable clothing, furniture and other items at affordable prices for people on a limited budget.
Working alongside a Vinnies Shop or Distribution Centre, the Truck Driver role will be a highly active and interesting role. As a volunteer you will drive around in a Vinnies Truck assisting with the collection of donated goods from households, businesses, and an assortment of other locations throughout the local community. The Truck Driver role will also assist with the delivery of welfare goods to community members in need.

If you're looking for something new and fun to do, this is the role for you. You will assist the Truck drivers with the daily collection of donated goods and deliveries of supplies to those in need in the community.
