Would you like to help our Dementia group to have a nice time in their weekly meeting in Dandenong? You can help in the kitchen by preparing and cooking. you can also help talking to seniors and make them feel welcome.
Are passionate about education? Do you have what it takes to help tutoring student to achieve their ultimate potential? At the Students Taking on Active Roles (STAR) Club, Students are supported by volunteer tutors who assist them with various subjects such as Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Philosophy and Physics. The aim of the club is to assist students to remain in school, pursue their academic aspirations and to encourage links between young people and relevant support services.
Friends of Refugees Reporting to the Education Support Coordinator, and working with other child care workers, the child care worker looks after children of parents who are taking part in programs at the Friends of Refugees centre and provide fun and educational activities while parents are in an adjacent room. Children will generally be between the ages of 3 months and 7 years.
The purpose of this role is to assist with sorting and processing of incoming goods to sell in Retail shops. This role also includes assisting with the pickup and delivery of stock for the Save the Children Australia shops on a cyclic and needs basis well as the delivery and collection of donated goods from members of the public.
We support the social inclusion of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Ucan2 runs once a week for 16 weeks at multiple sites across Melbourne. Our committed and passionate volunteers attend their allocated site on the same day each week. If you are in Dandenong and would like to help youth, why not join us?

Do you have passion in gardening? Would you like to participate in free training to become a Garden Guide. As a garden Guide you will help participants of the G4W Greater Dandenong program to encourage gardening for wildlife habitat outcomes. you will also provide encouragement to new participants to network with other G4W participants in Greater Dandenong and Victoria.
