Arthritis & Osteoporosis WA (AOWA) is currently seeking Kids' Camp Volunteers to assist in the supervision of young people who live with musculoskeletal conditions aged 7-17 years. Camp Freedom is designed to provide participants the opportunity to learn about their condition in a safe and fun environment, All camp volunteers will be under the supervision of the program coordinator and allied professionals.

Skills and knowledge required for the position are:

  • ability to supervise, empathise and support children living with musculoskeletal conditions

• good communication & listening skills

• reliability, conscientiousness and a great sense of humour

• ability to work constructively within a team of volunteers.

Volunteers need to be available for the duration of the camp. All meals, accommodation and activities will be provided. All volunteers need a current WWC and police clearance which AOWA will organise and pay for if you do not already have one.
