MATES Theatre Genesis have been in the Redlands District for over 30 years. MATES does a number of productions (including for Seniors Month) per year as well as offering Workshops, regular Script Readings and our famous Theatre Jam. Due to personal commitments the long term Treasurer will need to step away from the role. The encumbered Treasurer will be available to do a hand over to the new Treasurer.

MATES Theatre Genesis Birkdale are looking for a Treasurer to:

• Pay all accounts coming up for payment
• Reconcile payments
• Present a Balance Sheet at every monthly meeting
• Present a Profit and Loss at every monthly meeting
• Travel to monthly evening meetings at Birkdale
• Keep abreast of the changes happening with ATO and the Not-for-Profit Sector
• When Events and Performances are on (and leading up to) be available for handling of monies as well as Eftpos machines etc
• Banking after performances
• Have knowledge of MYOB

The person taking on this role does not necessarily need to know about Theatre but would be beneficial. The person taking on this role will need to become a financial member (financial year ends 30 September.)
