Volunteer Event Coordinator

Key duties: - work with the Community and Events Manager to:
- seek quotes for event suppliers.
- help 'traffic manage' the inbox for event-related enquiries.
- assist with updating our list of contacts relating to the event.
- set up event operational files - basic signage, delegate lists, information packs.
- assist with communications with event volunteers.
- contribute to updating content for website (if desired).
- other duties if time permits and interest is high.
Skills and Experience: The right person for this role doesn't necessarily have to have had direct event experience, you do however need:
- good administrative skills - able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- be organised and keep work in an orderly manner for collaboration with team members.
- be people-centred - enjoy working with people, polite and have a mindset of 'helpfulness'
