Cricket skills are not needed for this role, but a genuine interest in supporting young people to succeed and thrive in life is a must. Our teams all play on a Saturday morning, so availability at that time is also essential. Priority roles are coaching and mentoring (no cricket skills are needed, we will provide you with everything you require), team support, scorers and umpires. A positive can-do approach to tasks is key to you engaging with the program. A professional approach to your volunteering is required as you are working alongside teaching staff, parents and club officials but ultimately having fun as part of your volunteering will be the outcome.
