Bicycles for Humanity, Melbourne is seeking to appoint a person with experience in shipping logistics and documenting.

Key responsibilities:

• Organise container purchases and local container transport
• Book shipments with transport company and freight forwarder
• Complete all required shipping documentation in line with shipment timelines
• Assist with payments related to logistics

Key Skills:

• Good people skills to foster relationships with internal/external stakeholders
• Understanding of and timely execution of logistical/shipping processes

Desirable skills:

• Experience in shipping and logistics
• Experience working in a small not-for-profit and/or community sector
• Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative and flexibility
• Good team player and the ability to work autonomously
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Teams and Salesforce
