Volunteer to change lives. Yours included. This volunteer opportunity will help to provide support and assistance to the Community Support Workers to deliver events, activities, outreach and emergency relief services to the Discovery Coast Community.

As a response to the Agnes Water community, The UnitingCare - Community Support Service provides events, activities and outreach services to the communities of the Discovery coast area. 

We are looking for volunteers to join the UnitingCare team to assist our Community Support workers to provide these much needed services to the community.

Location: 97 Rocky Crossing Rd Agnes Water QLD 4677  UnitingCare Agnes Water consists of an amazing team of paid workers and volunteers. We are all driven by our passion to help the beautiful community and the wonderful people who live here to grow and thrive.

Tasks involved include: ▪️ Setting up and cleaning up after events and activities. ▪️ Organisation, participation, Supervision and guidance in events and activities.  ▪️ General administration duties, eg, printing, collating and data collection. ▪️ Possibility of driving 12 Seat Bus  (not essential) ▪️ Assisting the Community Support Worker to deliver Outreach services and emergency relief.

Times: Within opening hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm (negotiable)  Weekdays (Morning, Afternoon) 

Time Commitment: Get started from as little as 3-4 hours fortnightly 

Requirements: ▪️ An interest in, passion for or experience working with disadvantaged/marginalised people in the community would be preferred. ▪️ Reference Checks ▪ Working with children ▪ Drivers License (Open C Class) ▪️ Ability to obtain a Restricted Drivers Authority RDA (UnitingCare will organise)
