The garden volunteers will assist our Food Garden Coordinator in the production efforts using organic methodologies. You will be able to demonstrate organic gardening skills; interest in learning permaculture; knowledge of garden tools. You will be involved in a range of light physical duties on our beautiful 40 acre permaculture property. As a general garden/grounds volunteer, you will engage in various tasks such as general garden maintenance of flower, food and herb gardens; seasonal mulching; planting; weed removal; maintaining fence lines and paths; forest rejuvenation/land care; composting; pruning; lawn mowing, brush-cutting etc.

We provide tools and equipment, as well as refreshments and lunch for full day service (min 6hrs). You have the opportunity to become financial member of ASC and receive discount on products/produce and be part of a community/ecovillage. Fortnightly garden study days are held at Bellbunya with permaculture expert Ian Trew.
