If you’re interested in connecting with older people who are socially isolated, we’d love to hear from you! We’re looking for Volunteers who can support older people with their goals around staying independent, healthy and connected to their community.

We are currently looking for a Greek Speaking Volunteer for our Thursday Greek Group at Chadstone AgeWell Centre. This is a fun and exciting volunteer role that is perfect for a friendly person who enjoys facilitating groups and translating to staff. With the help of other staff, your day may involve facilitating a game of scrabble, working on a puzzle together, dancing to Sirtaki, engaging in arts and craft lessons, and then getting everyone around the table for a shared lunch. There will also be opportunities to get the group out for lovely walks or outings to local museums, movies etc.

We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. We value diversity in lived experience, language, skills and abilities.
