Gateball Australia is a trading name of the Australian Croquet Association, an incorporated association responsible for the sport of Gateball in Australia. Gateball is team based mallet sport, similar to croquet. Gateball is played in teams of 5 with players of various ages, is low impact and women and men, boys and girls all play in the same team. Gateball is hugely popular overseas and is growing in popularity here in Australia. Gateball Australia is a member of the World Gateball Union the world governing body for Gateball. Many overseas teams want to come and compete in Australia and we are proud to be hosting international teams at the Australian Gateball Championships to be held in 2023. We also hope to hold the World Gateball Championships in the near future. We need enthusiastic volunteers who love to welcome international visitors and players from around Australia, to help us with running these large scale events.
