The Tramway Museum, St Kilda, SA preserves and operates Adelaide's electric transport history. At the Museum, three pavilions house trams and trolley buses on display, and a dedicated display gallery and other displays show the progression of street transport history in Adelaide from the horse trams, through the electric tram era, to buses, and to the revitalisation of Adelaide's tramway network. The collection of trams is kept mostly in operating condition, and are rotated seasonally to provide rides to the public from the museum to the St Kilda Adventure Playground.
